  • Class registration will be limited to allow appropriate space between students.
  • Life Rescue has implemented added cleaning and sanitation efforts along with reducing the number of students in a class.
  • All manikins and training equipment will be completely disinfected prior, during and after the class.
  • Mouth to mouth practice with manikins will not be attempted.
  • These recommendations could change easily and quickly as new information and guidelines are released.
NEW 2020 COURSE GUIDELINES

Each year, the American Heart Association (AHA) releases updated guidelines for how to improve the effectiveness of CPR. Because research and studies are continuously leading to new information which is then reviewed by leaders at the AHA, they use that information to ensure improved training for those taking CPR courses and also to lead to a better outcome for victims of cardiac arrest. Every five years, the International Liason Committee on Resuscitation meets to discuss the latest studies and research and release global guidelines and protocol for how CPR is performed. ILCOR released updated guidelines in 2020.
