Currently, Life Rescue is only offering HeartCode BLS which is the AHA’s blended learning delivery method for the BLS Course. HeartCode blended learning delivers quality resuscitation education regardless of where providers are located and gives them more control to complete the course at their own pace. Basic Life Support is the foundation for saving lives after cardiac arrest. This course teaches both single-rescuer and team BLS skills for application in both in-facility and prehospital settings. The course reinforces healthcare professionals’ understanding of the importance of early CPR and defibrillation along with each link in the chain of survival. This course is designed for medical & dental professionals including but not limited to Physicians, Nurses, LPN’s, CNA’s, Paramedic’s, EMT’s, Firefighters and other healthcare personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills. Providers first complete the online portion of the course then complete a hands-on skills session (sold separately) with an AHA BLS Instructor to obtain a course completion card. The online portion of the course has been updated with the new science from the 2020 Guidelines for CPR and ECC and replaces previous versions.
